Bilbao on TikTok: Pintxos Bars and the Guggenheim
Plaza Nueva and Diputazio Kalea hold four of the ten Bilbao places creators post. On the old town square, Sorginzulo is recommended for its rabas and Restaurante Víctor Montes for its teriyaki mushrooms. On Diputazio Kalea in Abando, El Globo is known for its txangurro pintxo and an award-winning aged beef pintxo, and La Viña del Ensanche next door is one creator's favorite stop for jamón.

A pintxos route
Start in the old town on Plaza Nueva, where Sorginzulo, named Best Pintxo Bar in Bizkaia 2025, also does tortilla de patata and bacalao al pil pil, and Víctor Montes adds a long pintxos bar, txuleton beef and a vintage wine cellar. Cross to Abando for El Globo, which takes no reservations, and La Viña del Ensanche beside it, a 1927 bar with its original furniture and acorn-fed Iberian ham. Café Iruña, open since 1903 in front of the Jardines de Albia, is home to the pintxo moruno and is a long-standing favorite of one creator.
Museum, park and funicular
At the Guggenheim, beyond Puppy, the record lists Louise Bourgeois' spider Maman and Richard Serra's The Matter of Time, and recommends booking online in advance. Next to the Fine Arts Museum, Parque de Doña Casilda Iturrizar has a duck pond and an Eduardo Chillida sculpture. For a view over the city, the Funicular de Artxanda climbs to the summit in three minutes; fares are €3.50 one way or €6 return, and a creator notes a Barik card makes it cheaper. Back in the center, Aitaren Boulevard, opposite the Arriaga Theatre, is recommended for its ox croquette.
