Worth it?
Time it with the tide. At low tide you can walk out onto the rock platform and see the layers up close, including the K/Pg boundary that marks the dinosaur extinction, which makes this more than a nice view. Creators add it to Basque Country road trips. For the classic overview, go up to the San Telmo Hermitage, and hikers can follow the coast trail to Deba.
