Beaches, Waterfalls and Pools in Trinidad and Tobago From TikTok
The two islands split this list neatly in half. Tobago supplies the beaches: the thatched jetty at Pigeon Point, palm-covered Englishman's Bay, the waist-deep Nylon Pool out at sea, and Store Bay, where a creator films planes landing over the sand. Trinidad supplies most of the fresh water, with forest waterfalls, river pools and a remote north-coast bay reached on foot or by boat.
Nearly all of it is free. Pigeon Point is marked cheap, while Gaspar Grande and Paria Bay carry a moderate price level. Most of the Trinidad entries come from a single nature reel. The Tobago posts are itineraries with tips attached: where to stop for a cocktail, how many steps lead down to a cove, and a warning about flying drones near a waterfall.

Where creators go
- Pigeon Point Heritage Park
A 125-acre reserve and beach facility on Tobago, best known for its thatched-roof jetty over turquoise water. One creator calls it one of the world's most beautiful beaches. It has the most amenities on this page: restaurants, bars, shops, kayaking and kiteboarding, plus glass-bottom boats out to Buccoo Reef. It is also the only place here marked cheap rather than free.
- Englishman's Bay
A crescent of undeveloped beach on Tobago's leeward coast, backed by rainforest next to the Main Ridge Forest Reserve. The creator jokes that it is completely covered by palm trees and there is nothing English about it. A clear river meets the sea here, and there is a lookout point on the approach. Pick it for quiet over facilities.
- Nylon Pool
A shallow sandbank in the middle of the sea off Tobago, where the water is waist deep and clear blue. Local legend says it is a fountain of youth. You reach it only by boat tour, and it shows up in both a Trinidad and Tobago nature reel and a Tobago itinerary. Tours often pair it with No Man's Land and Buccoo Reef.
- No Man's Land
An uninhabited spit of white coral sand inside Bon Accord Lagoon, reachable only by boat. Its shallow turquoise water suits snorkeling and picnics, and it is a regular stop on Buccoo Reef and Nylon Pool tours. The creator's tip: stop here for a cocktail and local food.
- Store Bay Beach Facility
The easy beach in Crown Point, close to the airport, with calm water, lifeguards and a craft market of 35 vendors. The signature food is curried crab and dumpling, and glass-bottom boats leave for Buccoo Reef. The creator's favorite detail is the planes landing right over the beach, which makes it a good first or last stop on a Tobago trip.
- Pirate's Bay
A horseshoe cove at Charlotteville in Tobago, reached by boat or by 157 wooden steps. There are no facilities, but the water is clear and the coral reefs make for good snorkeling. The creator calls it secluded and straight out of a postcard. Bring what you need for the day, since the cove is undeveloped.
- Paria Bay
A remote white-sand beach on Trinidad's north coast, reached by a 2 to 3 hour rainforest hike from Blanchisseuse or by boat. The Cathedral Arch rock formation stands on the way, and Paria Waterfall is a 15-minute walk from the sand. Of everything in Trinidad on this page, it is the one that combines a beach and a waterfall in one outing.
- Rio Seco Waterfall
A 30 to 80 foot cascade into a deep emerald pool, between Balandra and Matura in Trinidad. Getting there takes a 40 to 60 minute rainforest hike. It is the most straightforward of the Trinidad waterfalls here: a single walk in, a big swimming pool at the end, and no boat needed.

Trinidad's waterfalls and river pools
Most of these come from a single Trinidad and Tobago nature reel, and each involves at least a short walk.
- Paria Waterfall: a large swimmable pool at the end of a roughly three-hour coastal hike past Cathedral Arch and Turtle Rock, with river crossings, so check the weather first.
- Avocat Waterfall: a clear plunge pool after a 1.3 km rainforest hike near Blanchisseuse, with no changing facilities.
- Turure Watersteps: limestone steps with a pool at the base of each cascade, about 30 minutes through the Cumaca forest and best in the rainy season.
- Manulot Falls: natural rock water-steps in the Cumaca valley, where rainbows can appear in the mist from November to March.
- Mermaid Pool: a natural swimming spot near Matura, reached by a hiking trail.
Islands you reach by boat
Three small islands appear in the same nature reel. Gaspar Grande, in the Bocas Islands off Trinidad, has the Gasparee Caves with a tidal pool, old whaling station ruins and Bombshell Bay, with guided cave tours. Off Speyside in Tobago, Little Tobago is a seabird sanctuary for red-billed tropicbirds, reached by glass-bottomed boat, and nearby Goat Island was once a retreat of Ian Fleming, the author of James Bond.
Smaller Tobago stops
Castara Waterfall is a small forest fall with a shallow pool, reached by trail, and the creator's only warning is to be careful flying a drone there. Mount Irvine Bay Resort is listed as a beach but is a resort hotel with a golf course and direct access to Mount Irvine Bay beach.
Good to know
Pigeon Point Heritage Park and Englishman's Bay are the most posted beaches here, along with the Nylon Pool sandbank, each with two mentions. Store Bay, Pirate's Bay and No Man's Land each appear in one Tobago itinerary, and each comes with a creator tip, from watching planes land at Store Bay to stopping for a cocktail on No Man's Land.
