Hotels and Day Spas in Germany From TikTok: Alps, Munich, Berlin
This is mostly a Bavarian list, and much of it comes from one creator's roundup of day spas in and around Munich. That means some entries are places you book for an afternoon in a bathrobe rather than a night: an outdoor-bathtub day spa in Bayrischzell, a mental spa in Munich, a garden spa on the lake at Waging am See. The rest are full hotels and two mountain lodges.
Prices lean high. Das Graseck, Das König Ludwig, Das Tegernsee, the Kempinski and the Andaz in Munich, and Soho House Berlin are all luxury. Moderate options include Tannenhof in the Allgäu, Dorfbad Tannermühl and the Tegernseer Hütte, a mountain hut you reach on foot. Soho House is the only stay outside Bavaria.

Where creators go
- Das Graseck
A luxury mountain lodge above Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the most posted stay here, with two videos. Creators include it both as a day trip away from the Oktoberfest crowds and as a day spa, where the view drops into the Partnachklamm gorge. Expect panoramic Alpine views and luxury prices.
- Das König Ludwig
An adults-only wellness resort in Schwangau, the village of the royal castles near Füssen. Its Ludwig SPA covers 7,100 square meters, and the creator describes plenty of room to relax with mountain views. Rooms look out to the Alps and the lakes. Luxury pricing, and no children.
- Tegernseer Hütte
A DAV hut at 1,650 meters between the Roßstein and Buchstein peaks above Kreuth, with dormitory space for 30. The creator hiked up from Bad Wiessee in about four and a half hours and recommends the Käsespätzle and staying for the sunset. A moderate-cost night for people who earn the view.
- Dorfbad Tannermühl
A small day spa and coworking space in Bayrischzell with outdoor bathtubs by a waterfall, a log cabin sauna over a stream and an outdoor shower in a rock grotto. Inside, a fireplace lounge with leather armchairs. It can be booked exclusively for a day, which suits a group or a couple who want the place to themselves.
- Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski München
A five-star grand hotel on Maximilianstraße, Munich's luxury shopping street. The spa on the sixth floor has rooftop views over the city, and the Schwarzreiter restaurant and Jahreszeiten Bar are in the building. It appears in the Munich day spa roundup, so the spa alone is the reason some people visit.
- Soho House Berlin
A members' club with hotel rooms at Torstraße 1, in a historic Brutalist building. The rooftop pool looks over the city, there is a health club with a studio, and the interiors draw on the 1970s. The creator calls the modernist rooms social and a little flirtatious. Luxury pricing.
- Das Tegernsee
A luxury hotel above the Tegernsee valley with a 2,400 square meter Panorama Spa and big windows facing the pre-Alps. Dining runs to DAS SENGER, which cooks seasonally, and a more casual Alpenbrasserie. Another stop from the Munich day spa roundup.
- Wellnessgarten Waging am See
A spa on the lake at Waging am See with saunas, two natural swimming ponds, a Japanese Zen garden with a tea house and heated loungers on the terraces. Ground-floor rooms give direct access to the water, and regional food and a breakfast buffet are served. The price level is moderate.
More hotels and stays in Germany
More from the Munich day spa roundup
The same creator video lists three more places. These are less filmed but still useful if a spa day is the plan.
- Andaz Munich Schwabinger Tor on Leopoldstraße: a luxury Hyatt boutique hotel with a lounge bar.
- Auszeit Wellness & Spa in the west of Munich: massages, Ayurveda, meditation and coaching, with fresh fruit salad after treatments.
- Tannenhof Sport & SPA in Weiler im Allgäu: a family-run hotel with 2,400 square meters of pools and saunas plus tennis courts.
Good to know
Das Graseck in Garmisch-Partenkirchen is the most posted, with two videos. Das König Ludwig in Schwangau, the Tegernseer Hütte, Dorfbad Tannermühl, the Kempinski in Munich, Soho House Berlin, Das Tegernsee and Wellnessgarten Waging am See each appear once, many of them in a single Munich day spa roundup.
