Shinjuku From TikTok: Menswear, Vintage Luxury and Jazz
Shinjuku, in these posts, is a fashion district first. Five of the seven places are clothing stores, and three of them share a single floor: the fifth floor of Lumine EST, directly connected to the JR Shinjuku Station East Exit, where 417 EDIFICE, STUDIOUS MENS and URBAN RESEARCH iD sit side by side. Nearby, KAWANO has been selling designer clothing since 1950, and KOMEHYO Shinjuku fills four floors with pre-owned luxury.
The other two entries are in quieter corners of the ward. Jazz Nutty is a jazz kissa in Waseda where you listen to records and do not talk, and Tsukemen Marucho is a dipping-noodle shop in Mejiro. Prices run from cheap at the jazz bar to expensive at KAWANO and KOMEHYO, with the Lumine shops in between.

Lumine EST, fifth floor
The three Lumine EST shops suit different shoppers. 417 EDIFICE mixes American casual with Japanese tailoring, including collaborations with American heritage brands, and the creator calls it a good start for an everyday wardrobe without going avant-garde. STUDIOUS MENS stocks only Tokyo-based Japanese labels and has a CULLNI booth. URBAN RESEARCH iD adds curated vintage, buyer's trunk shows, tax-free shopping for overseas visitors and staff who give styling advice. All three are moderately priced.
Designer and pre-owned luxury
KAWANO is a multi-floor select shop in the Kawano Building near Shinjuku Station, carrying brands such as TAAKK, amok and ANREALAGE, and the post aims it squarely at fashion-forward shoppers. KOMEHYO is the Kanto flagship of a pre-owned luxury chain, with handbags, watches, jewelry and designer clothing, plus appraisal and repair. Both are priced as expensive.
Jazz and tsukemen
Jazz Nutty plays from about 2,000 records through JBL 4331B speakers, charges a flat rate for drinks and asks guests not to talk. The creator likes its location near Waseda University, where the crowd is mostly local. Tsukemen Marucho Mejiro serves tsukemen, ramen noodles served apart from the broth for dipping, in the Mejiro area.
Good to know
Start on the fifth floor of Lumine EST, above the JR East Exit, where 417 EDIFICE, STUDIOUS MENS and URBAN RESEARCH iD are side by side. STUDIOUS MENS carries only Japanese labels. For designer brands like ANREALAGE and TAAKK, a creator points to KAWANO, a select shop open since 1950.
