Paris Restaurants in Creators' Videos: Brasseries, Crêpes and More
Japanese-language creators supplied a large share of these 37 Paris restaurants, and their lists lean classic: brasseries, bistro staples like onion soup and duck confit, and a run of crêperies. Four places tie as the most posted, with two videos each: La Maison de la Truffe on Place de la Madeleine, Pink Mamma in Pigalle, the Iberian fire kitchen Saltobar and Stellar Paris, where projections put your table under the sea or inside a volcano.
Prices run from cheap French classics at Bouillon Pigalle to two Michelin stars at Blanc in the 16th. The 11th arrondissement holds several of the newer rooms, Montparnasse has the crêpe queues and La Coupole, and the 3rd adds crêpes and two sandwich shops on Rue Charlot. Truffle comes up again and again on these menus, in pasta at Pink Mamma, macaroni at Brasserie Rosie and ravioli at Comptoir de la Gastronomie.

Where creators go
- La Maison de la Truffe
A truffle house on Place de la Madeleine, founded in 1932, with a boutique downstairs selling whole truffles, oils and butters and a restaurant upstairs serving seasonal truffle menus. Both posts point to the truffle pasta. It is the most expensive kind of meal on this page, so it suits a special occasion, or a shop visit if dinner is out of budget.
- Pink Mamma
Four floors of Italian trattoria on Rue de Douai, with a glass roof over the top floor and a hidden basement speakeasy called No Entry. Creators order the truffle pasta and the lobster risotto, and both posts say a reservation is required. Wood-fired pizza, fresh pasta and a 30-day aged Florentine beef rib round out the menu.
- Saltobar
Fire-cooked Iberian food on Rue Camille Crespin du Gast in the 11th, drawing on Barcelona, Lisbon and San Sebastián. Both posts read like the restaurant's own, showing croquettes, grilled prawns, steak and the signature burnt cheesecake. You can sit at the bar facing the open kitchen, on the terrace or in the candlelit basement.
- Stellar Paris
An immersive dining room near Saint-Sébastien Froissart metro where projections cover the walls around the tables. The two videos show different settings, one under the ocean with fish all around and one inside a volcano. Both put the price at around 30€ per person. Go for the spectacle: neither post says much about the food.
- Bistrot Victoires
A bistro on Rue de la Vrillière near the Louvre, filmed by a creator surprised at how reasonable it is for central Paris. The recommendations are onion soup, steak tartare and duck confit, and the meat portions are generous. The creator found a long queue, but it moved in about 20 minutes. Card and cash are both accepted.
- Bouillon Pigalle
One of two places marked cheap on this page: a modern take on the Parisian bouillon on Boulevard de Clichy, with red benches and classic French dishes at very low prices. Its oeuf mayo is famous for winning the World Oeuf Mayonnaise Championship. Onion soup, blanquette de veau and bavette frites fill out the menu.
- La Petite Périgourdine
A restaurant and wine bar on Rue des Écoles in the Latin Quarter serving regional French classics. The creator's order is the aligot, potatoes mashed with cheese and served tableside, and they say a reservation is necessary. Foie gras is on the menu, there is outdoor seating, and the kitchen stays open until 1:30 AM daily.

Brasseries old and new
Brasserie Bofinger on Rue de la Bastille opened in 1864 and serves Alsatian choucroute and seafood platters under a Belle Époque stained-glass dome. La Coupole in Montparnasse has 33 painted pillars and a past as a hangout for Picasso, Sartre and Josephine Baker. The newer ones play with the format: Brasserie Dubillot on Rue Saint-Denis cooks over charcoal and is recommended for its Paris-Brest, Brasserie Martin spit-roasts chicken beside a winter garden, and Brasserie Rosie near Bastille does truffle macaroni in a 1950s-style room.
Crêpes in Montparnasse and the Marais
Five crêperies made the list. On Rue du Montparnasse, La Crêperie de Josselin at number 67 takes no reservations and is known for thick, lace-edged buckwheat galettes, crisp outside and chewy inside. Crêperie Josselin, listed at number 59, is where a creator says galette with cider is the pairing to order. A Marais crêpe roundup adds Crêperie Gigi on Rue de la Corderie, with salted caramel and Montblanc crêpes, along with Crêperie Elo and Crêperie Marie Madeleine.
Sandwiches on Rue Charlot
Caractère de Cochon at number 42 is a tiny charcuterie that lets four people in at a time, and the owner talks each one through the hams and cheeses. The jambon-beurre is the order, and Jambon Noir de Bigorre is among the hams. It is expensive for a sandwich. On the same street at number 26, Chez Alain Miam Miam runs a sandwich-only second shop of the famous original, and the creator says it is less crowded than the first.
Good to know
Four tie at the top of this set with two posts each: La Maison de la Truffe for its truffle pasta, Pink Mamma for truffle pasta and lobster risotto, Saltobar for fire-cooked Iberian plates, and Stellar Paris for its immersive under-the-sea and volcano rooms. Everything else on the page comes from one post, many of them Japanese creators' lists of favorite Paris restaurants.
